The Dragon is back!

After 18 months out of competition due to a doping suspension, the former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Brazilian Lyoto Machida (22-7) will return to the Octagon.

UFC announced today on social media, the return of Machida at UFC Fight Night 119 in São Paulo, at Ibirapuera Gymnasium. The event is set for October 28.

Machida is facing an American wrestler Derek Brunson in main event, as he tries to snap his two fight losing skid, following defeats to Yoel Romero and Chris Weidman.

Brunson (17-5) returns after he beat Daniel Kelly in UFC Fight Night New Zealand, last June. The finish came through a first round knockout.

Also in this edition, light-heavyweight Glover Teixeira is set to face Latvian prospect, Misha Cirkunov in the co-main event.
