It has this evening emerged that light heavyweight standouts Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson are set to meet at the UFC’s return to London according to Flo Combat who broke the news.

Manuwa (16-2) makes his second successive appearance on UK soil after scored a KOTN win over Ovince St. Preux at UFC 204 in Manchester last October.

In a devastating display of striking he would finish his opponent midway through the second round when he connected  with a huge left to the ear leaving St. Preux (19-9) out cold.

The “Posterboy” who is ranked at No. 5 by the UFC will look to replicate his blistering form when he turns out in front of hometown at the o2 Arena.

No.9 ranked Anderson (10-2) who was a contestant on TUF Season 19 enters the bout in fine form, boasting a record of 4 wins in 5 contests.

During this impressive run “Overtime” has defeated Jan Blachowicz, Fabio MaldonadoTom Lawlor and most recently Sean O’Connell at UFC Fight Night 102 last month and will look to continue his hot streak against Manuwa.

UFC Fight Night London takes place at the o2 Arena on Saturday, March 18 2017 and MMA Plus will be on hand to bring you all the latest news and results.
