Just a few weeks after his successful debut, the Ultimate Fighting Championship have given Marc Diakiese (10-0) his next assignment against Frankie Perez (10-2) at UFC Fight Night 102.
Former BAMMA Lonsdale lightweight champion Diakiese, has made an undefeated start to his mixed martial arts careers was the talk of Manchester after he scored his third KO/TKO on the bounce to stop Poland’s Lukasz Sajewski in 4:40 of round 2 at UFC 204 to earn the “Bonecrusher” rave reviews from fans around the world.
After a year out of the octagon Perez will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce after it took the 27-year old, Ricardo Almeida Jiu-Jitsu just 0:54 of the opening round to TKO veteran Sam Stout at UFC Fight Night 74 and will look to claim another scalp by defeating Diakiese.
UFC Fight Night 102 will be held event held on December 9, 2016, at Times Union Center in Albany, New York and is headlined by the heavyweight clash between Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
