BELFAST, Northern Ireland – Marion Reneau (7-3) put on an impressive display to get back to winning way when she faced Milana Dudieva (11-5) at UFC Fight Night 99.

Entering the contest “The Bruiser” had lost her previous two bouts via decision against former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm and most recently Ashlee Evan-Smith at UFC Fight Night 83.

But on this occasion 39-year old would not be denied as from the outset she would establish her dominance standing early on.

Moving into the final round the fight would end up on the canvas with Reneau taking advantage trapping Dudieva and landing blows on her opponent who was unable to defend herself forcing the stoppage came at the 3:03.

After her win Reneau spoke to members of the media in attendance to about the lead up to the fight and let the world know who was next on her hit list.

“It was kind of frustrating (delayed flights) because I lost a day to get acclimated and I found myself catching up on sleep, trying to stay up late, taking naps – and I don’t take naps – it was frustrating and it played with me just a little bit. But, I was like let this mean something and the win made it better and it meant something. I was surprised she survived the second round. In fact, I was trying really hard to finish it and I should have pulled the trigger a little bit sooner. I want Bethe Correia because I believe she’s ranked number nine in the division, it makes sense and it will get me closer to where I feel I belong.”
