Featherweight contenders Max Holloway and Cole Miller are scheduled to face off in February when UFC Fight Night hits the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on Valentines Day, Feb. 14.

At just 22-years-old, Holloway (pictured) has already established himself as one of the UFC’s top young fighters. With a record of 11-3, the Hawaii native rectified a slide of two straight defeats in 2013 consisting of a split-decision loss to Dennis Bermudez and a unanimous decision loss to Conor McGregor, and has since put together a so far perfect 2014 boasting  four consecutive wins featuring 3 knockouts and 1 submission. Holloway most recently blitzed Akira Corassani within one round at UFC Fight Night in Stockholm, Sweden on October 4.

In 2012 Cole Miller (21-1) opted to again compete at featherweight for the first time since 2006. The 30-year-old Ultimate Fighter veteran and former lightweight contender has had mixed success, going 3-3 since returning to 145lb; however, the BJJ black belt has proved his experience to be a powerful asset with victories over the likes of Ross Pearson at 155lbs, but more recently with a 2-fight win streak over Andy Ogle in 2013, and Sam Sicilia who fell victim to a second round rear-naked-choke submission back in January.

Victory over Sicilia marks the only bout for Miller this year. The American was set to face Conor McGregor in July, but a hand injury forced the American Top Team fighter to withdraw from the Dublin card, and Holloway will welcome Miller back to the Octagon.

A main event is yet to be announced, but other fights on the card include former Bellator bantamweight champion Zach Makovsky taking on Tim Elliot, and Ray Borg vs. Chris Kelades.
