Francis Ngannou further enhanced his growing reputation as the one to watch in the UFC’s heavyweight division with yet another impressive performance at UFC on Fox 23 this evening.

Ngannou (10-1) needed just 94 seconds of the opening round to secure a TKO victory over former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski to reaffirm the growing belief held by many that he is the future of the division.

The 30-year-old who fights out of the MMA Factory in Paris, France added Arlovski (25-14-1 NC) to a growing list of UFC victims which includes Curtis BlaydesBojan Mihajlovic, and Anthony Hamilton.

After stalking his opponent, the end came when Ngannou clipped the Belarusian, sending him crashing to the canvas. After a few follow-up punches, the referee was forced to call time on the fight at the 94-second mark of round one.

This latest win for Ngannou; his fifth in a row inside the octagon. will surely propel him up the heavyweight rankings and place him within touching distance of a shot at Stipe Miocic’s UFC heavyweight gold.
