UFC 207 features a headline bout which pits Amanda Nunes against former champion Ronda Rousey in and event which serves as the promotions final card of the year.
Women’s bantamweight champion Nunes (13-4) makes the first defence of the title she won by defeating Miesha Tate via 2nd round submission (rear naked choke) at UFC 200 last July.
Her opponent Rousey (12-1) makes her long awaited return on December 30 after over a year removed from her last appearance inside the Octagon where the 2008 Olympic Judo bronze medalist suffered a shock KO loss to former champion Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.
The co-main event sees mens 135lbs kingpin Dominick Cruz take on knockout artist Cody Garbrandt in a highly anticipated grudge match.
Cruz (22-1) makes the 2nd defence of the title he never lost against undefeated Team Alpha Male trained Garbrandt (10-0) who will be looking to inflict the champions first loss since losing to Alpha Male head coach Uriah Faber 9-years ago.
Other fights of the card include a fight between former mens bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw who is currently ranked at No.2 by the UFC and John Lineker who is ranked at No.2.
