These events – announced during UFC London media day – add to the recently announced UFC Stockholm event which sees Alexander Gustafsson make his return to the cage.

Glasgow, Scotland

A return to the Scottish capital will commence on July 16, 2017. Glasgow enjoyed a successful UFC debut when the mixed martial arts promotion hosted the show on July 18, 2015. Tickets for the event sold out in just 25 minutes as thousands came to witness Michael Bisping inch his way closer to a title shot with a convincing victory over Thales Leites.

Plenty of homegrown talent was show on display with the likes of Joanne Calderwood and Stevie Ray as well as Robert Whiteford, who is hoping to return to the promotion. Glasgow’s SSE Hydro will again host the world’s leading MMA promotion.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands

A return to the Netherlands is scheduled for September 2, 2017. After an exciting and somewhat stacked card at Rotterdam on May 8, 2016 many will be looking forward to the return to The Netherlands. Star names such as Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Gunnar Nelson and Germaine De Randamie featured on the last Rotterdam fight night.

Arguably the most successful European nation in MMA today, the country is renowned for its fighters. The event could spell returns for natives Overeem and De Randamie.

Gdansk, Poland

UFC Gdansk is scheduled for October 21, 2017. Poland enjoyed an incredible debut in Krakow on April 11, 2015 as heavyweights Mirko Filipovic and Gabriel Gonzaga clashed for the second time, eight years after the pair first met. The main event lived up to the hype as a bloody war. The card was a huge success with other star names such as Jimi Manuwa and Calderwood making for great viewing.

Poland are one of the powerhouses of European MMA and with pound-for-pound queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk looking for a second UFC belt this year, we could well see the first female multi-division champion. Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Daniel OmielanczukKrzysztof JotkoJan Blachowicz and Kowalkiewicz are other notable natives that could feature on the card.
