MMA Plus caught up with German lightweight standout Nick Hein ahead of his contest with
Lukasz Sajewski on June 20 at UFC Fight Night in Berlin.

Having shifted his training to the Tiger Muay Thai camp in Thailand, ‘Sergeant’ explained how the world renowned facility is most certainly the place for him with “perfect” conditions for a competing athlete, from its high quality training and ideal food to the beneficial climate and positive atmosphere.

Following a unanimous decision loss to James Vick in his second UFC contest, Hein (11-2) feels he’s improved with “sharpened tools”, and confident of extending his UFC record to 2-1 in front of loyal fans on home soil at the O2 World Arena.

The 31-year-old takes on Poland’s undefeated Lukasz ‘Wookie’ Sajewski (13-0), 24, who has snatched three of his last four victories via Armbar.
