On Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, MMA fans will witness the return of the man, the myth, the legend “The Korean Zombie.”
After a three-plus year hiatus from the sport, Chan Sung Jung makes his Octagon return against Dennis Bermudez in the featherweight main event of UFC Fight Night 104.

The long awaited return of The Korean Zombie
Jung (13-4) is finally finished with his mandatory South Korean military service and will look to bounce back from a 2013, fourth round TKO loss to reigning featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163.
Prior to that defeat, he had been riding a three-fight win streak that included wins over Dustin Poirier, Mark Hominick and the history making twister submission win over Leonard Garcia at UFC Fight Night 24, the first submission of its kind inside the Octagon.
A win for the South Korean over his opponent on Saturday night will surely catapult him into the top-10 of the 145 pounds ranking and set him back on the path to a second title shot.
Meanwhile, after going on a seven-fight unbeaten run, Bermudez (16-5) suffered back-to-back losses against Ricardo Lamas and Jeremy Stephens.
Since those setbacks, the man nicknamed the “The Menace” has claimed decision wins over Tatsuya Kawajiri and most recently Rony Mariano Bezerra at UFC Fight Night 92 last August and a third successive win over the former title challenger could move him one step closer to a shot at UFC gold.
The card also features a bout between undefeated female strawweight Alexa Grasso and Felice Herrig. The highly touted Mexican Grasso (9-0) looks to extend her unbeaten start to her professional career when she meets MMA veteran Herrig (11-6).
