UFC Middleweight Kevin Casey has revealed that he requires immediate surgery for a retinal tear suffered at UFC Vegas.
On Thursday, Dec. 10, Casey suffered an eye injury in his fight against Antônio Carlos Júnior. An accidental eye poke from Carlos Júnior after 11 seconds rendered him unable to continue the fight, rendered a no contest.
Casey took to his official Instagram account to break the news and revealed his retinal tear requires surgery; which he will enter ‘in the next hour’. He also expects to be out of action for some time recovering from the injury.
