New UFC signing Oskar Piechota is set to meet Jonathan Wilson on October 21 when the UFC returns to Poland.
Former Cage Warriors middleweight champion Piechota and Wilson are slated to face off at UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland, after Wilson revealed the news on his Instagram. The UFC has yet to confirm the bout.
UFC Fight Night 118 will mark Wilson’s first fight in the Octagon since his unanimous decision loss to Ion Cutelaba at UFC Fight Night 96. The American holds a record of 1-2 under the promotion and is currently riding a two-fight losing streak which has seemingly resulted in a change in weight class.
Piechota – who signed with the promotion last week – is an unbeaten fighter with a professional record of 9-1-0 with all his victories coming by way of stoppage. The Pole enters the bout off the back of two KO victories, both of which came within the first 40 seconds of the bouts.
Already announced for the event, fights include Ramazan Emeev vs. Trevor Smith and Jan Blachowicz vs. Devin Clark.
