At BAMMA 31, Alex Lohoré put an end to the rivalry with Nathan Jones, knocking him out in the first round to claim the BAMMA world title.

It was a feud which stemmed almost four years, but on Friday night at SSE Arena Wembley, Lohoré and Jones finally had the opportunity to end their beef, with the highest stakes possible.

Speaking to MMA Plus following his ‘destiny’ fulfilling win, the newly crowned champion admitted hardwork and dedication got him through an early onslaught from Jones, as the French fighter rallied to brutally knockout Jones with a forceful knee.

In his post-fight interview, “Da Kid” confirmed the beef between the pair is now over, having turned his attention to next opponent Richard Kiely, who has aggressively been pursuing both Lohoré and Jones in the build-up to BAMMA London.

Will the champion face SBG Ireland’s Kiely in his hometown of Dublin next?
