BAMMA have this afternoon announced a mouthwatering matchup between Jeremy ‘Ninja’ Petley and top ranked British featherweight, Nad Narimani. This fight will have major implications for the BAMMA roster as both of these fighters are potential future title contenders.
The London Fight Factory and CheckMat standout Petley makes the move down a division at Night of Champions after losing in his last BAMMA appearance against Martin Stapleton at BAMMA 19. The Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu specialist will once again bring his dangerous ground game and rugged striking and will no doubts be looking to put those fighters currently competing in the featherweight division on notice that he is coming.
Nad Narimani (7-2) fights out of Iron Mann MMA in Evesham, Worcestershire. Training alongside head coach Ronnie “Iron” Mann, Narimani has only one loss in his last 3 fights and that came via decision against another top ranked featherweight Alex Enlund. With the majority of his wins coming via way of submission, Petley’s renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu base will be put to the test in Birmingham against Narimani.
