Ultimate Fighter veteran and London’s own Bola Omoyele (pictured) is set to appear on the card of Warrior Fight Series 4 in August against fellow Londoner Dan Vinni, who also competes later this month, June 27, on the debut card of Macto Championships when he faces Dean Amasinger.

Press release:

London’s premiere event, Warrior Fight Series, is proud to announce a middleweight bout between Bola Omoyele and Dan Vinni as well as a flyweight bout between Dominic Wooding and Darren Castleton which are set for WFS 4, at the York Hall in London, on August 1st, 2015.

Bola Omoyele Vs Dan Vinni

Bola Omoyele fights out of Team Titan in London and brings to the cage a record of 8-4. The four-fight Cage Warriors veteran, who also appeared on TUF: Smashes, brings a heavy t/ko based record with six of eight wins via that method. He holds notable wins over the likes of Vincent Del Guerra and Warren Kee and has also shared the cage with the likes of Jack Marshman and Aaron Wilkinson. He is coming off a win over Tye Palmer via Submission (Guillotine Choke) in May this year and will be looking to keep in the win column.

Dan Vinni, formerly known as Dan Edwards, brings to the fight an official record of 12-13. Fighting out of London’s Cobra gym, the 20+ fight veteran will be looking to upset the applecart when he takes on fan-favorite Omoyele. Known for finishing fights, with all of his wins coming by way of stoppage, he knows he doesn’t get paid for overtime and brings the fight every time. Having fought all around the world on big shows including Cage Warriors and ProFC, he has shared the cage with some of the toughest guys out there including none other than “Professor X” Xavier Foupa-Pokam. Currently riding a losing streak, Vinni will want to get the ‘W’ and get back into the win column.

Warrior Fight Series’ promoter, Harry Shoebridge said: “This is a great local match up between two very experienced guys. Neither likes to go the distance so we can expect a thrilling battle, that’s for sure. I would say that this is a contender for FOTN although after seeing what we’ve got planned, it’s going to be tough!”

Dominic Wooding Vs Darren Castleton

With an extensive amateur record, having fought the best names in the UK within the unpaid ranks, Dominic Wooding is set to make his pro debut with WFS. Fighting out of Team Titan/MMA Terror Squad and having fought in over ten amateur fights, the time is right for the you Londoner to step up to the paid ranks in an attempt to forge a career. The current WFS amateur flyweight, known for his flamboyant and piercing striking, will be looking to make a positive start to his pro career when he takes on Castleton on August 1st.

Darren Castleton also came to the pro ranks with a very impressive amateur record, and when he made his pro debut against Joe Laurence, many wrote him off. After dispatching of Laurence, he moved on to take on another Team Titan prospect in Luis Gonzalez to which he dropped the loss. Bringing a record of 1-1 and fighting out of Pro Systems MMA under Ryan White, Castleton will be looking to get the win and get back to his usual winning ways.

Warrior Fight Series’ Press Manager, George McCann said: “Both of these guys were known on the London amateur MMA circuit and Darren has made an impact since turning pro. Dominic has fought the who’s who at amateur and now he takes the step into the paid ranks as he looks to make a statement. This is a great fight and it’s a pleasure having this bout on the card.”
