Paddy Pimblett vs Donovan Desmae CW113

A huge lightweight bout between Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett and Donovan Desmae has been scheduled once again and will take place on March 20th at the London Indigo at the O2.

Pimblett (14-3) has had a turbulent year, with two fights against Desmae falling through at late notice. The former champion is raring to get back in the win column after losing out on the Lightweight Title in his last bout, and now targets one of the division’s top contenders in his return.

Standing in his way on March 20th is Donovan Desmae (14-5) of Red Kings MMA in Belgium, whose record includes dominant wins over Tim Barnett and former title contenders Alexander Jacobsen and Aiden Lee.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani in October, Pimblett said: “The comeback’s happening.

“I was scheduled to fight Donovan in December last year, and I said when I had to pull out that if he wants the fight when I come back, then he can have it. I’m a man of my word.

“Everything happens for a reason because Donovan’s now the number one contender. I’ll come back, take Donovan out and then I’ll be coming for that belt.”

The CW113: London card will also feature appearances from Flyweight Champion Samir Faiddine and undefeated lightweight contender Mason ‘The Dragon’ Jones, as well as 11 other names announced this week.

In the biggest weekend of MMA on the 2020 calendar, Cage Warriors London will take place on Friday 20th March, followed by UFC London on Saturday 21st.
