The vacant European Middleweight title will be on the line at Made4TheCage 18 when Ryan Scope moves up to 185lbs to face Jack Marshman on Saturday, September 26.
Newcastle’s own Scope (9-0) makes his first appearance since a unanimous decision over Ali Arish at BAMMA 15 in April, 2014.
The 22-year-old has been described as one of the most naturally gifted fighters to come out of the North East; a territory that has produced the likes of Colin Fletcher and Ross Pearson.
On the other hand, Marshman (16-5) is one of Wales’ hottest prospects, having faced some of the Europe’s top names in both BAMMA and Cage Warriors Fighting Championships.
The Welshman makes his long awaited return, with his past two bouts scheduled for Abu Dhabi Warriors and Pain Pit being cancelled.
Formerly of the 3rd Battalion, Parachute Regiment, Marshman’s last professional MMA fight came at CWFC 72, where the 25-year-old scored an impressive second round TKO over veteran Che Mills.
Also on the card, Tommy Quinn fights for the British Welterweight title, two veterans clash when Warren Kee meets Curt Warburton and the return of Chris Fishgold.
