Someone’s ‘0’ will go when MACTO Championships hits The Arena:MK for the first time on June 27, with leading amateur flyweights John Shink and Tom Creasey both set to put their undefeated records on the line. MACTO first revealed the contest in conjunction with KingdomMMA.co.uk.

Press release:

MACTO Championships, the UK’s hottest new MMA promotion, are proud to announce a high octane contest between two undefeated amateur fighters with John Shink vs. Tom ‘The Boom’ Creasey, set for MACTO Championships’ inaugural event on June 27 at the Arena: MK in Milton Keynes.

As part of the diverse line up on offer on June 27, MACTO Championships are proud to showcase the professional standouts of tomorrow with a host of the nation’s leading amateur contenders fighting alongside professionals of both mixed martial arts and kickboxing.

Representing Team Morefire, John Shink is considered to be among the top amateur fighters in the UK with victories over a number of his most prominent Flyweight counterparts. Boasting an unblemished 8-0 record at 125lbs, the durable Luton native won his latest amateur championship by defeating Aaron Robinson over a hard fought 3 rounds back in March, and will aim to further solidify his billing under the banner of MACTO Championships.

In contrast, Tom ‘The Boom’ Creasey joins the MACTO family with a draw against undefeated professional Chris Miah as the only exception on his otherwise perfect amateur record of 7-0-1. Fighting out of Elite Training Centre, Creasey is known to harness a forceful top game to finish fights and boasts an amateur championship of his own. Creasey will hope to have the crowd behind him at Arena: MK on June 27 as he is set to fight in his home town of Milton Keynes.

MACTO Championships’ debut showcase will be headlined by British UFC veteran Nick Osipczak making his eagerly anticipated return to MMA competition, and fearsome knockout artists Alex Montagnani and David Round will collide in the co-main event.
