One the greatest rivalries is UFC history is set for a rubber in Houston, Texas, at UFC 166.

Arguably the greatest UFC trilogy to date, Junior dos Santos (16-2) dramatically snatched the UFC heavyweight title from Cain Velasquez (12-1), via a first-round knockout (64 seconds) at the UFC’s highly anticipated debut on Fox, back in 2011.

Following a brutal victory against Antonio Silva the following year, Velasquez bounced back to earn a rematch, and pummelled the Brazilian over 5-rounds to reclaim the 265lb championship.

Like his counterpart, dos Santos was forced to earn his rematch, and did so at UFC 160 on May 25, claiming the no.1 contender spot with a trademark striking display, culminating with a rarely seen spinning-wheel-kick knockout, toppling the granite-chinned Mark Hunt.

UFC president Dana White revealed to ESPN that Velasquez vs dos Santos III will headline the bill at Houston’s Toyota Center, on October 19.

With the rivalry tied at 1-1, and each man having claimed a dramatic clear cut victory, who will be on top form with their hand raised at UFC 166?
