Invicta Fighting Championships 20 takes on Friday, November 18 2017 at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. In the main event reigning woman’s bantamweight champion Tonya Avenger defending her title Yana Kunitskaya.
Champion Avenger who is currently riding a 9-fight win streak was last seen in action at Invicta FC 17 this past May when she scored decision win over Colleen Schneider. Her opponent, 26-year-old Kunitskaya makes a return to competitive after almost 4-years away from the cage when in her last outing the Russian scored a second round TKo win over Yanan Wu.
The co-main event features strawweight champion Angela Hill making the first defence of her title against Brazilian Kaline Medeiros. Hill won the title when she defeated Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 17. The challenger Medeiros has been on a rich vain of form while competing under the Invicta umbrella, stopping Aline Serio in her promotional debut and handing Manjit Kolekar her first loss at Invicta FC 19 in September.
