World Series of Fighting women’s strawweight champion Jessica Aguilar (18-4) is looking to become even more active in 2015.

Despite being scheduled to step into the cage for the third time this year against Brazilian Kalindra Faria (15-3-1) at WSOF 15, 3-fights in 2014 is simply not enough for the American Top Team fighter.

“I was hoping for four fights this year, but obviously we’re kind of limited,” Aguilar told news outlet MMAjunkie. “I want to fight more. Hopefully next year I’ll have more, but we’ve got to just work with what we’ve got and make the best out of it. I’m happy. I can’t complain. Two years ago I had one fight. I’m really happy for the opportunity to compete and where my future is going.”

With this in mind Jags has her sights set on at least 4 title defences during 2015 and will look to extend her 9-fight winning streak which has seen Aguilar defeat the likes of Carla Esparza, Megumi Fujii and more recently Emi Fujino at WSOF 10 to cement her status as the Number 1 ranked 115 pounder in mixed martial arts today.
