A new chapter in the life of one of boxings greatest ever fighters, Floyd Mayweather Jr could be set to be written soon.

According to famous business magazine, Forbes, who spoke to the P4P kings friend and Russian business partner, Timofey Kurgin, a proposal from the owners of DAZN worth up to up to 500 million dollars has been offered to Mayweather Jr.

According to Kurgin, Mayweather has been in contacted by the internet streaming platform DAZN about a potential deal that would see him come out of retirement. Further talks are scheduled to take place with DAZN founder, Russian billionaire Leonard Blavatkin who has invested a reported two billion dollars into the service since its 2016 launch.

Kurgin was a founder of TMT projects in Russia and have a close relationship with Floyd than helps the fighter to reach partners to established their business in Moscow and other cities in the country.

If Mayweather accepts the offer, the undefeated boxing legend will make his first return to action, since his last exhibition bout at Rizin Fighting Federation last December. In that bout, the former 5-weight faced Japanese superstar Tenshin Nasukawa and would defeat the kickboxing superstar by knockout in the first round.

It’s not clear what type of deal, Mayweather and DAZN are looking forward in discussions.

After Floyd insists his retirement was permanent, rumors of a possible rematch against Manny Pacquiao began to surface on social media. But at the time of writing, neither fighter has confirmed any deal has been struck.
