It was today announced that TUF 9 finalist Andre Winner (15-7-1) will take on Poland’s Maciej Jewtuszko (10-2) at KSW 24 for the Polish promotion’s lightweight title.
Winner, who has won 3 out of his last 4 fights, goes into the bout fresh off a unanimous decision win over Drew Fickett on last month’s GWC – British Invasion card. Winner faces a man in Jewtuszko who had an ultra-impressive start to his career, winning his first 6 contests by either KO/TKO or submission, before going on a 2 fight skid, losing to current BAMMA British lightweight champion Curt Warburton along the way. Since then, the Team Berserkers fighter has bounced back to win his last 2 fights, which has set up a clash with Team Rough House’s Winner.
The main event of KSW 24 will see 5 times world strongest man Maruiusz Pudzianowski look to exact swift revenge on former UFC heavyweight star Sean McCorkle, after the American defeated the KSW fan favorite at KSW 23 via 1st round Kimura.
KSW 24 also features former Britons strongest man Oli Thompson (11-5) who will take on Poland’s Kamil Walus (4-1).
KSW 24 will take place at the Atlas Arena, Lodz, Warsaw on 28th September.
