The 65kg contest of Liam Harrison vs Greg Wootton has been removed from this weekend’s installment of British kickboxing promotion The Main Event after Harrison was hospitalized following a problematic weight cut. As two of the standout names in UK Muay Thai, the highly anticipated bout had been on the cards for a long time.

We are absolutely devastated, as will everybody be, at the loss of this fight. However, fighters safety must come first. We still have 15 fights on the show, see you there.”
