GLORY 20 has received a lethal injection of British brawn, with Chi Lewis-Parry (4-0) and Chad Sugden (12-3) set to represent at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Friday, April 3.

6’10, 120kg Lewis-Parry will debut in the heavyweight division against Xavier Vigney (6-1, 6 KO’s) in the GLORY 20 Superfight Series. Vigney impressed fans at GLORY 19: Virginia Superfight Series, stopping Everett Sims in emphatic fashion.

“Chopper” is undefeated in MMA, with six wins, and one no contest. He most recently defeated Alain Ngalani by TKO last July in Asian promotion ONE Fighting Championship.

Also scheduled to fight on the GLORY 20 Superfight Series is welterweight (170lbs/77kgs) Chad Sugden (12-3), who trains out of Suggy’s Gym in Newark, England. He last made an appearance in the promotion back at last seen at GLORY 5: LONDON back in March 2013, where he defeated Sam Wilson by decision.

21 year-old “2Slick” will face Atakan Arslan (18-7, 14 KO’s) in Dubai, who debuted at GLORY 15: ISTANBUL last year. Sugden is considered by many as one of the brightest stars in kickboxing, he is the youngest fighter ever to hold an ISKA Professional World Title and in 2013 was presented with the ISKA ‘Fighter of the Year’ award by Peter Aerts.

Sugden makes his GLORY return a month before competing in the UK’s biggest kickboxing bout of the past decade. He goes up against Michael Wakeling on May 23 at The Main Event, a man who has not been beaten in the past 10 years.
