All GLORY athletes weighed in on Thursday, Nov. 30, ahead of GLORY 48 New York and GLORY 48 SuperFight Series on Friday night.
The weigh-ins took place at the Ramada Plaza in Newark, New Jersey.
Both title bouts were made official, as Kevin VanNostrand, Anvar Boynazarov, Anissa Meksen and GLORY super bantamweight champion Tiffany van Soest all made weight.
VanNostrand and Boynazarov will headline GLORY 48 New York with the GLORY Interim-Featherweight Title up for grabs as undisputed champion Robin van Roosmalen is out of a contract and dealing with an eye injury.
Boynazarov replaces Abdellah Ezbiri, who beat “The Uzbek” in the GLORY 47 Featherweight Contender Tournament Final last October in Lyon.
The Uzbek, who weighed in at 142.6 lb, has a slight weight advantage over his American foe, who stepped on the scale at 142.2 lb.
As part of ‘Women’s week’ on UFC Fight Pass, two of the world’s best female kickboxers headline the GLORY 48 SuperFight Series card. American Tiffany van Soest defends her GLORY super bantamweight belt against Anissa Meksen, arguably the best female kickboxer on the planet.
Van Soest, who defends her belt for the second time after defending it last August on GLORY 44 against Meryem Uslu, weighed in at 120.2 lb.
The much more experienced Meksen, who won 93 of her 96 bouts, tipped the scale at 120.6 lb.
Former UFC fighters Thiago Silva and Chris Camozzi are set to make their debuts in the organization.
Silva fights Josh king in Light Heavyweight Co-Headline Bout of the GLORY 48 New York section of the card, while Camozzi fights Kyle Weickhardt on the GLORY 48 SuperFight Series.
There will be five fights on the GLORY 48 SuperFight Series. which will stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS at 0.30 a.m. BST (7.30 p.m. ET / 4.30 p.m. PT.)
