The four participants have been announced for the GLORY 39 featherweight “Contender” tournament, which takes place at Forrest National in Brussels, Belgium on March 25, 2017.

Former GLORY featherweight champion, Serhiy Adamchuk (33-7) will face Anvar Boynazarov (79-20-2). In the opposing bracket, Petchpanomrung “The Professor” Kiatmookao (34-2) takes on Russian Muay Thai champion Alexei Ulyanov (21-2-1), who is making his GLORY debut. The promotion announced the matchups on Friday evening.

The winner of the GLORY 39 tournament will face Robin van Roosmalen (37-6) for the GLORY featherweight title. Van Roosmalen defeated Matt Embree at GLORY 37 by knockout, but was stripped of the title due to missing weight for that bout.

The five-fight main card will be headlined by a welterweight title fight between current champion, Cedric Doumbe (65-4-1) and No.2-ranked contender Yoann Kongolo (64-8).

Also of note, Jahfarr Wilnis (30-8-1) had to withdraw from his co-headlining bout against Jamal Ben Saddik (31-5) due to “precautionary medical reasons.” Stepping in for Wilnis will be Guto Inocente (33-7).
