All GLORY athletes weighed in on Friday, Oct. 27, ahead of GLORY 47 Lyon and GLORY 47 SuperFight Series on Saturday night.

The weigh-ins took place at Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences in Lyon, France.

Light-heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov and challenger Ariel Machado both made weight for their main event showdown.

The Russian, who weighed in at 207.7 lb, has a slight weight advantage over his Brazilian foe, who stepped on the scale at 206.6 lb.

Eventually, all fighter came in on weight, although there were some complications during the official weigh-ins.

Co-feature bout fighter Yohan Lidon initially weighed in at 176.1 pounds but managed to get himself to 169.8 lb in a later attempt, per GLORY’s press release. His opponent, Cédric Doumbé, came in at 168.9 lb.

“The Best” stole the stole at the ceremony with an ‘apology’ to Lidon for all the trash talk he bombarded his countryman with. He also came with a gift for “The Lumberjack”: a book called ‘French for Dummies’.

Dylan Salvador was M.I.A., but weighed in later at 143.3 lb. He wasn’t present at the weigh-ins was unable to do a staredown with Massaro Glunder, who weighed in at 143.1 lb, but his absence won’t have consequences for the fight.

“Weighed in late, all cool,” GLORY CEO Jon J. Franklin told MMA Plus per text.

There will be five fights on the GLORY 47 SuperFight Series. which will stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS at 6 p.m. BST (1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.)
