GLORY has added a second title fight for the promotion’s return to “The Windy City” this coming February.

Sittichai Sitsongpeenong (118-30-5), the current GLORY lightweight champion, will defend his title against the No.2-ranked contender Christian Baya (60-5-1), the promotion announced in a press release on Thursday.

That bout will headline the GLORY 50 SuperFight Series, which will take place at UIC Pavillion on February 16.

Headlining GLORY 50 is the welterweight clash between champion Murthel Groenhart (67-22-3) and No.2-ranked challenger Harut Grigorian (46-11), which was announced earlier this month.

“Killer Kid” has now won five straight fights, including a TKO victory over Dylan Salvador in his last fight at GLORY 39. His lone defeat in the GLORY ring came at GLORY 25 in a controversial loss to Robin van Roosmalen.

Baya, meanwhile, has won his first four fights with the promotion since making his debut at GLORY 35. In his last fight at GLORY 49, “Bad News” defeated Samo Petje via TKO.

Illinois natives Richard Abraham and Daniel Morlaes will both be competing at GLORY 50. Opponents for both fighters and additional matchups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
