Replay the main card fights from the recent Road to Glory UK event on March 11, 2017 including, the 8-man featherweight tournament and main event Jamie Bates vs. Kev Ward.
The 8-man tournament would secure both the winner, Mo Abdurahman and runner-up, Bailey Sugden, with contracts to fight for GLORY Kickboxing. As well as Bates who would defeat ISKA and WKA world champion, Kev Ward by decision on the night.
The overall event was full of entertaining action from the very first fight of the preliminaries and throughout the full fight card, showcasing a stack of UK (based) kickboxing talent. Road to Glory UK had everything you could want (and more) with, high tempo fights, exciting knockouts and even a decision that caused a storm on social media, adding to the all the mouth-watering drama.
Interesting times ahead for Abdurahman, Sugden and Bates, with strong rumours circulating that semi-finalist, Adrian Maxim, was allegedly offered a contract by GLORY Kickboxing, after his contentious decision loss to Sugden at Road to Glory UK.
