Robin van Roosmalen successfully regained his GLORY featherweight title against Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao at GLORY 41 Den Bosch. However, after his victory, van Rosmalen admitted that it can be a bit challenging to stay motivated because the natural incentive to do so fluctuates depending on his task at hand.

Having fought a couple of big name Muay Thai fighters from Thailand under GLORY Kickboxing rules, the Dutchman opened up about potentially fighting big name ‘Farangs’ such as Yokkao world champion, Liam Harrison.

“Liam Harrison is really good fighter, I follow him for a long time now, I’ve seen a lot of fights of him,” he said. “He’s got a great style to fight with so if I get the opportunity to fight him, yeah, I would love to fight him. For me it would be exciting fight, great motivation.

“It’s not that there’s not like competition in GLORY anymore but sometimes its hard to reload yourself for a fight, to get motivated and Liam Harrison is a big name, you know. I’ve got something to win against him, so yeah, why not? For other fighters they only got to win something against me. If I win, people always say yeah, you should be winning but if you lose your sh-t, so you know, you’ve got nothing to win really.”
