Yokkao

The fight cards for Yokkao 14 and Yokkao 15 are starting to be revealed, and it is already looking like one of the best Supershowdown events yet, when Yokkao return to The Macron Stadium in Bolton on October 10.

Fresh off an emphatic victory over Rungrat Sasiprapa in May, Greg Wootton returns at Yokkao 14 to face Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym; one of the best Thais currently active.

Saenchai hasn’t fought in the promotion since a Yokkao 7 decision over Victor Nagbe in February 2014 but is currently undefeated in his last six bouts.

The fight was realistically one of the few legitimate options open to Wootton, who is superior to many challenges available to him domestically.

Having lost a tough decision to Pakorn PKSaenchaimuaythaigym at Yokkao 11, Wootton must now face another PKSaenchaimuaythaigym stablemate as he looks to prove he can hang with one of the world’s best.

Liam Harrison first travels to Los Angeles at the end of July to face Malaipet Sasiprapa on Lion Fight 23 before returning home to headline Yokkao 15 against 2003 Lumpinee stadium fighter of the year, Singdam Kiatmoo9.

“The Hitman” makes his return to The Macron after losing a decision against PK PKSaenchaimuaythaigym at Yokkao 12, in one of the year’s most anticipated bouts.

The UK #1 at 65kg squares off with a very inconstant Singdam, who has struggled for form in 2015, and will be trying for his first win at Yokkao 15.

Also just recently added to Yokkao 15, England and France will collide when Jordan Watson meets Crice Boussoukou.

Bad Company Leeds’ Watson will be looking to avenge his Yokkao 12 loss to Sanny Dahlbeck, a bout where Watson looked far from his best, losing his 70kg Yokkao title.

Fighting out of Team Nasser K, Boussoukou will be a tough task for Watson, with his reach advantage and outside style of fighting.

After his 2014 fight of the year against Brad Stanton at Yokkao 11, it is clear that Boussoukou will be game to defeat yet another one of the UK’s best.

However, after a good recovery period, including touring America alongside mind coach Vinny Shoreman, the UK’s top 70kg fighter will be on a mission to try and regain his title as quickly as possible.
