Undefeated Russian Vitaly Bigdash makes the first defence of his middleweight title against Aung La Nsang at ONE Championship 51 – Quest for Power.

Bigdash (8-0) has made an unbeaten start to life in the professional ranks with all of his victories coming by way of stoppage with 4-wins coming by KO/TKO and 4 coming by way of submission.

In his debut at the Asians promotions Tigers of Asia event in October 2015 the 32-year old defeated Igor Svirid to claim the belt.

He was originally set to face Warsaw, Poland native Marcin Prachnio (12-2) before injury forced a change of opponent and the fighter who hails from Rustov on Don in Russia will now face Aung La Nsang.

Nsang (19-9) steps up to face the champion is in, like the Bigdash’s previous opponent in fine form since his 1st round TKO loss to Jonavin Webb in 2013.

Since that defeated the Burmese fighter has gone on a 4-fight unbeaten run which includes 3 victories inside the ONE cage against Mohamed Ali, Aleksei Butorin and most recently Michal Pasternak at ONE State of Warriors last October.

In the co-headline bout former Featherweight contender Martin Nguyen will take on experienced Japanese fighter Kazunori Yokota in a fight that could have potential title ramifications.

ONE Championship 51 – Quest for Power takes place on Saturday, January 14 2017 at Jakarta Convention Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia.
