After submitting Paul Daley in the second round at Bellator 179 in London, Rory MacDonald sent a chilling message to welterweight foes Douglas Lima and Lorenz Larkin.

MacDonald put on an educated performance at the SSE Arena Wembley on Friday, May 19, showing the world, despite his lengthy lay-off, he is still one of the best 170lb fighters active today.

Welterweight champion Lima will defend his title against Larkin on June 24 in New York, with MacDonald expected to be the first in line to face the winner.

The Candian “Red King” also laid out the challenge to MMA legends Fedor and Wanderlei Silva explaining those are the type of super fights he would look for when he wins the welterweight title.
