Tywan Claxton made his professional debut in devastating fashion at Bellator 186 at the Bryce Jordan Center in Penn.
The 24-year-old had a glittering amateur career with all seven bouts ending in him victorious. However, as we all know, the pro game is a different kettle of fish.
Professional debuts are never easy, especially when your opponent is also undefeated. However, Claxton had his own ideas.
“Speedy” faced fellow novice Jonny Bonilla-Bowman who was entering the cage for the second time after a three year hiatus. It turned out to be a stunning return.
Just 90 seconds into round one, he produced one of the knockouts of the year and undoubtedly one of the best flying knees in mixed martial arts history, leaving his opponent unconscious.
