UFC UK have this evening announced the sudden cancellation of Davey Grant (8-2) vs Roland Delorme (9-2-1NC).

Britain’s Grant appeared excited and ready to compete upon weighing in on Friday afternoon, before meeting the Canadian in the Octagon on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night at the O2 Arena in London.

The prelim fight was decalred cancelled just hours after the weigh in. According to MMAFighting.com, UFC president Dana White revealed that Grant had previously suffered a knee injury and had an MRI scan prior to weighing in on Friday. It’s reported that Grant fought to keep his place on the card, however the results of which came following the weigh in, revealed that Grant’s injury was too severe to compete with.
