A mouthwatering clash between Max “Power” Nunes and Vinny Magalhaes is rumoured to have been added to ACB Supersonic this March.

Nunes (17-3) who fights out of Stockholm, Sweden mades his debut for the Russian promotion at ACB 48 last October when after a slow start against Maxim Futin landed a massive knee to the head of his opponent midway through round 3 forcing the doctor cageside to call the fight.

The win over Futin was the All Star Gym trained fighters second win on the bounce after knocking out Fabricio Monteiroin in just 0:43 seconds at Abu Dhabi Warriors 3 in October 2015.

His opponent Magalhaes (14-8-1) will look to get back to winning ways when he faces “Power” after being on the wrong end of a unanimous decision loss to David Branch at WSOF 33.

Before the shock defeat the Brazilian who trains out of Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas was riding a 4-fight win streak which included wins over Jorge Gonzales, Jason Brilz, Matt Hamill and most recently Jake Heun at WSOF 30.

But despite his recent setback a win over the fighter nicknamed “Pezao” will surly be the biggest win of 27-year old Nunes career.

Sources close to the situation claim that both fighters verbally agreed to the fight but at the time of writing it is not yet none if the bout agreements have been signed.

The event will be headlined by a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ clash that will see the UK’s very own and current Venator Middleweight Champion Luke Barnatt goes up against top 10 Middleweight and current KSW Middleweight Champion Poland’s Mamed Khalidov.

ACB Supersonic takes place on Saturday 11 March 2017 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England and MMA Plus will be on hand to bring you all the news and resulted from this exciting event.
