KSW have added yet another mouthwatering clash for their staked, star-studded KSW Colosseum card which is scheduled to take place at Warsaw’s National Stadion on Saturday, May 27th, 2017.
Former KSW champion Karol Bedorf (14-3, 5 KO, 3 Sub) will face his longtime foe Michał Kita (17-8, 9 KO, 6 Sub) in the exciting heavyweight showdown.
Bedorf, the inaugural KSW heavyweight title holder, knocked out Kita with a vicious head kick back in December of 2015, earning the Knockout of the Year honors in Poland.
However, it was “The Massacre” who dominated throughout the entire KSW 33 clash, picking apart the then champion over the course of one and a half rounds. One unblocked kick would eventually cost the 36-year-old the fight and the championship strap.
After their memorable bout, Bedorf went on to defend his title against James McSweeney back in March of 2016 but later lost the championship to Fernando Rodrigues Jr at KSW 37. Meanwhile, Kita bounced back from the loss, submitting Michał Włodarek with a slick guillotine choke at KSW 36.
The winner of this excellent contest will likely earn the No.1 contender spot for the KSW heavyweight title.
KSW Colosseum takes place on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland.
