It may come as no surprise to some that UFC flyweight John “Hands of Stone” Lineker again missed weight at this afternoon UFC 169 weigh-ins which took place at at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The ultra talented Brazilian weighed in at 127lbs, two pounds over the 125lbs weight limit making it the fourth time this has happened during his UFC career.

This latest incident means that the Top Team fighter has failed to make weight in 4 out of his last 5 fights failing to make weight against Louis Gaudinot (127lbs), Jose Maria (129lbs), Phil Harris (128lbs) and now against Ali Bagautinov (127lbs).

Lineker had been working with Mike Dolce, before cutting ties with the nutrition Dolce Diet guru in the lead up tomorrow event. This later incident will again lead to calls from some sections for the Brazilian to be dropped from the UFC especially in light of the stance the worlds number mixed martial arts promotion has taken in the past fighters such as Anthony “Rumble” Johnson who have missed weight on multiply occasions in the past.

Lucky for Lineker he has 2 hours to reach the 125lbs weight llimit.

MMAPLUS will bring you more on this story as we get it.
