Invicta FC 9 was a night filled predominately with decisions, Invicta champion Barb Honchak (10-2) made a successfully defence of her flyweight title against Japan’s Takayo Hashi (15-1-1) at the River Center in Davenport, Iowa in the early hours of Sunday morning.
In the main event that was a rather tepid affair, devoid of much excitement besides the odd frantic exchanges, neither fighter’s showcased their undoubted talents. Overall it was the champion Honchak who’s effectively employed her strategy to score unanimous decision victory in one of her slightly less impressive performances.
