Two featherweights coming off the biggest wins of their careers will collide on the UFC’s first Fox show of 2014.

Jeremy Stephens established himself as a contender at his new weight class with a stunning 40 second head-kick KO of Rony Jason earlier this month.

‘L’il Heathen’ looks to have turned his career around with two straight wins in the division after a three-fight skid at lightweight.

His latest win – which silenced the partizan Brazilian crowd in the Goiânia Arena – followed a unanimous decision victory over Strikeforce veteran, Estevan Payan.

Darren Elkins will come into this fight off the back of his own decision victory at UFC Fight Night 27 in August.

The 145 pound division’s resident grinder came from a round down to get the nod from all three judges over Japanese star Hatsu Hioki.

The win was Elkins’ sixth win out of seven at featherweight and was a return to form following his outing as April’s chosen victim for the Chad Mendes knockout spree..

UFC on Fox 10 will take place in Chicago on January 25, and is set to be headlined by a clash between Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson, who sit at #1 and #4 respectively in the UFC lightweight rankings .
