The Ultimate Fighting Championship have tonight announced via twitter, a bout between undefeated middleweight’s Luke “Big slow” Barnatt (8-0) and Sean “Tarzan” Strickland (14-0).

The fight, which will feature on the UFC Fight Night 41 card, and will see Cambridge based fighter Barnatt look to make it 4 wins inside the UFC after he defeated Mats Nilsson via 1st round TKO earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 37 in London, England.

Big slow will again put his undefeated record on the line against fellow undefeated prospect Strickland and this bout will be the first time he has competed for the worlds number 1 mixed martial arts promotion outside of the UK.

23-year old Strickland, who made his UFC debut at UFC 171 as late injury replacement for Barnatt’s fellow TUF season 17 cast member Tor Troeng made light work of his opponent Robert McDaniel, submitting him via 1st round rear-naked choke. 

UFC Fight Night hits the O2 World Arena, headlined by Mark Munoz vs. Gegard Mousasi on May 31 in Berlin.
