Top British striker Paul Daley (pictured) is finally set to make his long awaited return to kickboxing action, having signed a major deal with growing promotion Final Fight Championship, who in 2012 staged Mirko ‘Cro Cop’s’ homecoming bout vs Ray Sefo at the packed out Arena Zagreb in Croatia.
A host of K1 bouts are in store with potential for MMA contests also, with Daley having sealed a 3-fight deal of which excludes the UK and Ireland. ‘Semtex’ is primed and expected to appear under the FFC banner during April when he takes on intense Slovenian Miran ‘Boss’ Fabjan, in Slovenia’s capitol Ljubljana. As Slovenia’s top kickboxer, Fabjan explained a loss could mark the end of his career, but didn’t take long to state that “Daley will get his ass kicked in April”, and has since wished the Brit a merry Christmas and happy New Year.
