Shinobi MMA Fighting Championships is proud to announce that a heavyweight featuring Tom Aspinall vs Owain Gywn will serve as the Co-Main Event for Shinobi War II. A previously announced welterweight clash between Chris Senior and Jai Herbert has been installed as the Main Event.

Tom Aspinall fights out of Team Kaobon in Liverpool. Tom holds an impressive 8-0 record and is considered by many to be a genuine prospect. In Tom’s last bout he knocked out Tom Bankevics in 17 seconds to claim the FCC Heavyweight Title.

Owain Gywn fights out of KGB in South Wales. He too has never tasted defeat and holds a 4-0 record. All of Owain’s victories have come inside the first round and in his last bout he defeated Romek Sim via submission.

Ste Passey (Shinobi MMA FC Matchmaker) said,

“My biggest challenge for Shinobi War II was finding a suitable opponent for Tom Aspinall. For such a young fighter he has an impressive record and an even more impressive skill set. There are not many UK heavyweight MMA fighters out there and there are even fewer on the same level as Tom. However, I believe in Owain we have found someone who will certainly give Tom Aspinall a run for his money! Neither man has felt what it is like to loose and come May 31st, someone’s 0 has got to go.”

Shinobi War II will take place on Saturday 31st May 2013 at the Deeside Leisure Centre, Queensferry, North Wales.

Tickets are now on sale and priced at £75 VIP and £30 standard. You can purchase tickets from the following direct from HFFS-Deeside or HFFS-Sapphire or Deeside Lesure Centre
