A clash between bantamweight prospects Yaotzin Meza and John Albert looks set to be added to the UFC on FOX 8 fight card, sources are reporting this evening.

Meza, who fights out of the MMA Lab and counts his brother Victor as well as current UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson amongst his training partners, has been out of action since he suffered KO loss at the hands of Chad Mendes at UFC on FX 6 on Dec. 15, 2012.

In Albert, Meza face a man who has truly fallen on hard times of late having faced stiff competition in his previous 3 fights losing to the likes of Scott Jorgensen, Erik Perez and Ivan Menjivar in the process.

A defeat for either two fighters could result in them being cut from the UFC ranks and this fight appears to be a must win for both parties.
