It’s been revealed that British featherweight standout Arnold Allen has been called up to the UFC on short notice for a bout with Iraqi fighter Alan Omer at UFC Fight Night in Berlin, Germany on June 20.

Taking place at the O2 World Arena, ‘Almighty’ Allen takes the fight with just five days to go following the withdrawal of fellow Brit Mike Wilkinson.

With a 9-1 record, the 21-year-old BKK Fighters product has received high praise in recent years as one of the UK’s most highly touted young prospects.

Allen snatched the Made4TheCage British title on short notice back in November when he stepped in and forced a second round doctor stoppage when fighting veteran Paul Cook. Allen boasts five wins via knockout, two by way of submission and two decisions against just one decision loss.

In contrast, Omer (18-4) made his UFC debut on April 11 and suffered a split-decision loss against former Cage Warriors champion Jim Alers. The 26-year-old has claimed six knockouts, ten submissions and two decision wins over his career.
