Tonight Dooho Choi (15-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) gets the fight he’s been asking for as he faces off against Cub Swanson (23-7 MMA, 8-3 UFC) at UFC 206 in at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

Choi who is unbeaten in 13 fights with his past eight wins via knockout will look to move his way up the Featherweight rankings against Swanson who debated retiring from the sport following back to back losses to Frankie Edgar and Max Holloway and is now looking to add to his two fight win streak.

‘The Korean SuperBoy’ took the UFC by storm currently holding a record of 3-0 in the promotion including a 93-second victory over Sam Sicilia and an 18-second knockout over Juan Manuel Puig.

Weeks after his most recent bout a first round stoppage of Thiago Taveres the 25-year-old called out Swanson and has told FloCombat.com he believes he will knock his opponent out in the first round. Currently ranked 13th a win tonight over a ranked 6th opposition would help the Korean break into the top 10 rankings.

A UFC veteran with 11 fights in the organisation, Swanson will no doubt be the toughest of the Korean Superboy’s career, entering the bout with back to back decision victories over Hacran Dias and Tatsuya Kawajiri earlier this year taking his record to 8-3 in the UFC. The 32-year-old has impressive victories over Dustin Porier, Jeremey Stephens and Charles Oliveira and will look to end the six year unbeaten Streak of Choi’s and halt the hype train that comes with it.

This is a fight between two excellent strikers both with the ability to finish a fight; Choi now has the chance to prove he is ready for the elite of the featherweight division and extend his fight record to nine victories in a row.
