A Women’s bantamweight clash between Lina Länsberg and Veronica Macedo has been added to UFC London in March.
Länsberg (6-2) took to Instagram to make the announcement and will look to get back to winning way after a disappointing UFC debut.
On her octagon debut the Swedish fighter put up a valiant effort against Cris Cyborg Justino at UFC Fight Night 95 before succoming to the Brazilian powerhouse midway through the 2nd round.
Before the set back the”Elbow Princess” had been on a 6-fight win streak that has seen her defeat the likes of Emma Delaney, Alexandra Buch and Maria Hougaard Djursaa to earn her shot in the UFC and will look to get back in the win colmn when she meets her Venezuelan opponent.
Macedo (5-1-1) had made an unbeaten start to her mixed martial arts career before suffering a 3rd round TKO loss to Ashlee Evans-Smith at UFC Fight Night 93 and will look to return to winning ways at the O2 Arena.
