In the second mega announcement of the day the Ultimate Fighting Championship have added a fight between Gegard Mousasi (35-5-2) and Dan Henderson (30-12) to next years UFC on Fox 14 card.
Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Mousasi, has had a up and down start to his UFC career, swapping wins and losses and will be looking to bounce back from a 3rd round submission loss to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza at UFC on Fight Night 50.
His opponent Henderson has also been on a patchy run of late, losing 4 of his last 5 fights against Lyoto Machinda, Rashad Evans Vitor Belfort and most recently Daniel Cormier in the last 18 months. The only win for Team Quest trained Henderson in almost 3-years came against Mauricio Rua this past March.
UFC on Fox 14 will be held on 24th January 2015 at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and will headline by a main event between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony ” Rumble ” Johnson.
