The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s injury bug continues as it has emerged this evening that Irish flyweight Neil Seery (14-10) has withdrawn from his UFC Fight Night 55 bout with Australia’s Richie Vaculik (10-2).

— Neil 2 Tap Seery (@NeilSeeryMMA) October 28, 2014
Stepping in on 2 weeks notice for the Team Ryano trained fighter will be Hawaiian Louis Smolka (7-1) who will look to bounce back from a split decision loss to Chris Cariaso at UFC Fight Night 40 this past May.
UFC Fight Night 55 goes down on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 from the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia and is headlined by the middleweight clash between Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping.
Seery was looking to build upon an impressive unanimous decision win of England’s Phil Harris at UFC Fight Night 37 in March but it is not known at this time how long “2 Tap” will be on the sidelines for. MMA Plus will keep you updated on this story as it develops.
